GM CEO Steps Down; Hypocrites get reelected

The hypocritical political double-standard was again on full display as the CEO of GM, Richard Wagoner, Jr. was asked to step down “because the company needs a clean sheet” and a “change of leadership would be consistent with the clean-sheet approach.”  So when do Main Street voters get the clean-sheet approach from Congress? Every Congressional incumbent  who legislated and promoted the corrupt financial environment that led to the Great Financial Meltdown of 2008 or did nothing to stop or reverse the idiotic fiscal policy that every American deserves to own a home—even if they cannot afford to pay for it, needs to voluntarily step down effective immediately. Let’s start over in 2010 by cleaning out the incumbent dead wood in both the House and Senate.
